Snail slime benefits

Snail slime is an external bodily secretion which is produced by snails.

Snail slime is obtained from the common garden snail species Helix aspersa, which produces a secretion rich in proteins of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and antioxidants.

The secretion of the snail has a double function when applied to human skin: on one hand it is claimed to stimulate the formation of collagen, elastin and dermal components that repair the signs of photoaging and, then, is claimed to minimize the damage generated by free radicals that are responsible for premature skin aging.

The snail slime has been used sporadically as skin treatments since the time of the Ancient Greeks; Hippocrates reportedly recommended the use of snails to relieve inflamed skin.

Aurum helicis is an exclusive and effective snail slime face cream.

This snail slime cream has strong regenerating, anti-aging and smoothing effects.

It improves hydration and is effective on small skin discoloration (spots).

The collection of snail slime, made naturally, does not cause suffering to the snail.

The feeding, no intensive collecting and the pristine environment in which the snails live, in the Tuscan countryside, in Italy, far from any kind of pollution, ensure a high quality product, rich, precious and undoubtedly effective.
